The archives just received a new 2011 book by Br. Jim Lewnard, CSV. It is titled Trackside in the Land of Lincoln with Richard Ward. This is the third book that Br. Lewnard has written on the topic of trains. Monon in Color was published in 2002 and in 2009, Br. Lewnard co-authored Chicago & Illinois Midland Railway in Color with Ryan Crawford. All three books are published by Morning Sun Books in Scotch Plains, NJ. and are filled with wonderful color photography. Sure to please any train buff!
The archives currently does not have Br. Lewnard's second publication from 2009 and is on the lookout for a copy to make the collection complete - hope someone can donate one!!
